13998. CZECHOSLOVAKIA AND THE VELVET REVOLUTION OF 1989. This termpaper provides an overview and analysis of the socio-political impact of Czechoslovakia’s 1989 ‘Velvet Revolution’ on the transition states (including Czechoslovakia itself which split into two independent nations, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, in 1993) of eastern-central Europe and the former Soviet Union.
