13400. PRESCRIPTION PRIVILEGES FOR PSYCHOLOGISTS? This paper provides an overview and analysis of the controversy surrounding the provision of prescription privileges for psychologists. Following a brief overview of some of the forces driving the push for prescription privileges, the major points of contention, and an outline of the principal parties supporting each side, the analysis reviews the arguments both for and against prescription privileges for psychologists.
